Hair Trend Alert!

It was hard to miss the latest hair trend on the streets of Paris this PFW, a kind of interpretive fusion of the 1920's Gatsby finger wave and the 1940's victory rolls.

Both very glamorous eras in hair - the popular theme entailed partial styling, with fashionistas focusing on the front of their hairline and letting the back stay a little more subdued and natural. Either way, it was by far the most impressive look among the crowds.

I’m personally a fan purely because, as a former hairdresser and stylist, creating even a slightly less-than-perfect finger wave or victory roll can be… let's just say, a bit of an ordeal! If you like the look, check out these YouTube tutorials on how to recreate your own version of this fusion!
