Husk Welcomes Autumn with their New Collection, Future Retro
Husk recently presented its latest collection for Autumn 2022.

Inspired by re-invented classics, Future Retro is a truly intricate collection with many layers of interesting panache to display. The correlation between the past and the future is deeply explored in this autumn line.

As with every collection, Future Retro has been edited with the client’s state of being in mind, offering head-to-toe outfitting solutions that are complementary to the distinctive lifestyle offering and experience that sets the brand apart. The collection features a remarkable support of local artisans, unique offerings of homewares, and a sensory range created using unique blends of organic essential oils, such as their signature Izmir scent.

Here's how Husk's designer, Kirrily Johnston, describes the new collection.

1. How did you come up with the idea behind Future Retro?

I was inspired by re-invented classics with a modern twist. I wanted to source transitional pieces that can be taken through the seasons. The wearable prints and warm colours throughout this collection allow you to bring vibrancy to your wardrobe this autumn.

2. Where do you get your inspiration from?

I take inspiration from many different things within the fashion world and everyday life. I love stand-out pieces that are effortlessly chic. Street art, runways, mood boards, friends – I think you can take inspiration from anything if you look beyond fashion. Garments you can wear throughout the years and add to your capsule wardrobe is what our Husk portfolio embodies.

3. How would you describe Future Retro?

Retro transitional pieces with wearable prints – it allows you to have optional layers and play on colour. The wide variety of structured silhouettes and print offerings make this collection an embodiment of how our fashion expectations and decisions reimagine themselves in time.

The new campaign and collection are available in stores and online now.
