Premium Sunscreens You Need This Aussie Summer

As we head into summer in Australia, Casper Magazine have done our research and are ready to share our top sunscreen products to protect our skin over the next few months.

It’s true that not all sunscreens are created equal, and these highly dynamic super-smart products are quite literally skin altering!

First up is Ultraviolette, a brand with some legendary sunscreens.

This brand was developed by Ava Matthews and Bec Jefferd, two Aussie women in the beauty industry who wanted a little more from their standard sunscreen and needed something more adaptable, yet easy to use. The outcome was Ultraviolette – a multi-purpose range of sunscreen products that not only smells great, but is paraben-free, lightweight, full of gorgeous ingredients and antioxidants, and is generally simple to use for anyone.

We admire the entire range, but our superstars are definitely Queen Screen and Ultra Violette Supreme Screen!

With the Queen Screen Luminising Sun Serum, the name says it all – it’s the absolute queen of sunscreens! This little blue bottle delivers serious UVA and UVB protection while leaving your skin perfectly luminous. The lightweight serum melts into your skin and creates the ideal makeup base, easily becoming the number one product in your summer skincare routine.

Our second Ultraviolette pick is the Supreme Screen, one the best all-rounders we've come across. The three-in-one combines incredible protection, hydration, and 'the makeup readiness of a primer' for a great every-day option.

This Ultaviolette superhero is super light, paraben-free, made in Australia, and comes highly recommended by over 94% of customers – not to mention that it’s so hydrating, you can skip your usual moisturiser!

Next up is Tatcha’s Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen.

This is the luxurious sunscreen we've been looking for, combining protection, hydration, and sheer perfection! With an impressive ingredient list consisting of silk extract, Japanese wild rose, and loquat leaf extract, this lightweight sunscreen provides broad-spectrum SPF 35 protection from UVA and UVB rays, and leaves your skin hydrated and silky smooth.

Finally, we have another exceptional all-rounder that delivers the goods: say hello to SuperGoop’s CC Screen SPF 50!

This mineral CC cream is formulated with only pure and skin-nourishing ingredients, available in a range of 15 colours. It's buildable enough to cover imperfections, yet weightless, delivering instant luminosity while including daily broad-spectrum protection with SPF 50 and a PA++++ rating for healthy skin.

As we all know here in Australia, a good sunscreen is an absolute must – especially in the summer months. Heading into December, Casper Magazine is giving away sunscreen prize packs for our Australian subscribers, so click here to enter the draw!
