Support Your Local Businesses with a Take-Away Treat This Lockdown
With yet another lockdown here in Melbourne, we're looking to help local restaurants and cafes while enjoying their delicious offerings.

So, here we are, back at it again – and yes, of course I'm referring to the latest lockdown (number I don't even know anymore!). Anyway, brace yourselves for another two weeks of too much Netflix, although now in my household, we've flipped to Disney+, endless scrolling on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. And possibly way too much time spent with family – I totally say that with love.

We thought we'd share with you some culinary takeout options to get you through and make the most of the downtime, because it’s a great idea to treat yourself by ordering in some local stuff, especially great restaurant-quality food!

We featured Providoor last year, a platform that delivers food from over 35 different restaurants. The popular platform is still delivering mouth-watering menus and is a definite winner among Melburnians, so if you haven't tried it yet, head to their website here.

But we've also identified some local heroes that you should try out.

Your roomies won't have to suffer yet another serving of your home-cooked repeat offender (in my case, endless pots of minestrone soup) and you'll be helping businesses to use ingredients otherwise going to waste.

So, to treat yourself and support your community, here are some of Melbourne's best restaurants, cafes, and takeaways doing delivery during lockdown.
