Prada’s new Australian and New Zealand websites have just launched, and that means that, for the first time, AUS/NZ residents will be able to participate in the next limited-edition Prada Timecapsule, set to drop on Friday morning.
Since December 2019, Prada have dropped a new Timecapsule on the first Thursday of every month. Each one contains an exclusive run of 50 classic boxy shirts, one of Prada’s wardrobe essentials, with an original printed motif unique to each drop available for just twenty-four hours. The first launch was exclusive to Europe, but as Prada have expanded their new e-commerce platform, more and more regions have been able to get in on the race for a piece of Prada history. Now, it’s Australia and New Zealand’s turn to be part of the fun.
The November 2020 Timecapsule will be available through Prada’s website on Thursday, November 5, at 3pm CET (that’s 1am on Friday in Casper Magazine’s hometown of Melbourne). It will feature a unisex cotton poplin shirt with a geometric pattern inspired by the world of ‘70s tracksuits. Its beautiful vintage colour palette is complemented by 100% mother-of-pearl buttons, and each shirt comes with a number between 1 and 50 to mark its limited-edition status. It’s a stunning piece for all Australian and New Zealand Prada fans to be excited about!
The updated Prada websites giving Australians and New Zealanders access to the Timecapsule are full of even more incredible features. Reflecting the quintessential identity of Prada, the sites integrate the brand’s e-commerce platform and insightful editorial content within their smooth and sophisticated aesthetic. The platforms are dynamic and elegant, bringing users up to date with Prada sites across the globe.
The website relaunches and the latest Timecapsule are making this a beautiful moment for Prada, but remember, you’ve got a limited time to buy once the clock ticks over! We at Casper are so thrilled to be fully connected to the global brand once again, and we can’t wait to see how this Timecapsule and future Prada drops will unfold.
