Many people have lost their lives, hundreds of homes have been destroyed, and our wildlife is being decimated by the hundreds of fires still burning across the country.
As we enter a new decade, and as a proud Australian, I find it difficult to think about anything other than what we all can do to help.
Like the rest of the country, I've been painfully watching the devastation of the fires across our beautiful bush lands and coastal regions in pure disbelief. Never have I been more affected by the unfolding tragedy across New South Wales, Victoria and now parts of Western Australia, devastated by the sheer magnitude of these relentless fires and the massive effects they've had on humans, animals, and the environment. I am honestly speechless.
Words can't convey what actions can, so please donate, support, pray, and give whatever you can at this very crucial time. There are several fundraisers you can contribute to, such as supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA) here, the Rural Fire Service (RFS) here, or the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund here.
Another way to help is through our friend Sara Sidari, an artist working around the clock on some incredible limited-edition artworks. All proceeds go to Wild Life Emergency Rescue www.wires.org.au/, and Casper & Casper will donate a further 10% of the cost of all prints sold over January, so head to our link and order now to support Australia's fire-affected communities!
