Miu Miu Ready To Wear Fashion Show Collection Spring Summer 2023.

Fashion is a way to translate reality into material form. It's not just a reaction to the world around us. It's designed to sit within it, to become part of what it reflects. It's the idea of transferring feeling and response into result that Miuccia Prada explores in her Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

In a continuation of the previous two seasons, the new Miu Miu collection explores the complexities of both physical and psychological expression. Featuring a cast of all genders in subtle colours, layers of cottons, silks, cashmere, embroidery, and utility pockets, the collection reflects individuality through layering.

This is not an easy moment to create fashion. For this collection, I wanted to explore the purpose of fashion, its reason. Its usefulness in society and in culture today. Fashion can have a meaning and a reason beyond utility - to decorate, to attract, is a meaning. But it is important that fashion functions - I am not anti-luxury but I am anti-ostentation.
