Co-Directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons invite us to explore the power of reality in a world of imagination. The Prada Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection, unveiled at the Deposito at Fondazione Prada in Milan on Sunday, showcased classic Prada tailoring infused with bold, optimistic colors.

From a distance, the pieces may seem simplistic or naïve, but up close, they reveal intricate details that challenge our perceptions of reality and illusion. This collection encourages us to revisit our inner child, reminiscent of playing dress-up in our parents' closets.

Deliberate, unconventional hemlines, either awkwardly long or chopped short, emphasize fashion's universality. Twisted collars, supported by hidden wires, and intentionally wrinkled fabrics speak to a sense of deliberate spontaneity.

The show conveyed a sense of freedom and youthful idealism, with models emerging from a simple hut, symbolizing newfound confidence as they leave the nest, wearing pieces that pay homage to garments ‘borrowed’ from parents.
