Pharrell William's new simple gender-inclusive skincare line: Humanrace

It's no surprise that artist Pharrell Williams has ventured into the beauty arena with his latest collaboration with Williams' New York-based dermatologist of over 20 years, Dr Elena Jones.

His mission is as uncomplicated as his product range: To empower people to take care of themselves and their wellbeing.

"There is a lot of unrest in the world right now, and it's more important than ever to take care of ourselves. Your wellbeing is important – in order to care for others, you need to make sure you take care of yourself as well."
Pharrell Williams

Humanrace Skincare is a collection of all-gender skincare products based on Pharrell's own skincare routine and the benefits of exfoliation and humidifying hydration with its three-minute facial.

The skincare range compromises of three products:

Step 1: Rice Powder Cleanser
Step 2: Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator
Step 3: Humidifying Cream

Sustainability was an important factor to Pharrell, which meant the product line's holistic approach in reducing waste through implementing innovative design and using post-consumer recycled landfill plastic allows for the removal of excess packaging.
FSC-certified recyclable cartons are printed with non-toxic vegetable dyes further considering the environmental impact during the manufacturing process.

Apart from replenishing the skin, being environmentally friendly and empowering humans to take care of themselves, the green minimalistic packaging aesthetic is another very cool characteristic feature of the brand and while we wouldn't expect anything less from Pharrell Williams, we look forward to his next exciting creative collaboration.
